Terms and Conditions for the Château Gâteaux & Zee Nation Fest Ticket Giveaway Competition

1. Promoter

1.1 This promotional competition is run by Château Gâteaux (Pty) Ltd (“Château Gâteaux” or “the Promoter”).

2. Promotional Period

2.1 The Château Gâteaux & Zee Nation Fest Ticket Giveaway Competition (“the Competition”) runs from 27 July 2026 to 5 August 2026, inclusive.

2.2 The Promoter reserves the right to extend, amend, suspend, or terminate the Competition at its discretion due to circumstances beyond its control.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The Competition is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.

3.2 The following persons may not participate:

· Employees, directors, agents, consultants, or partners of Château Gâteaux;

· Affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies associated with the Competition;

· Immediate family members of the above.

4. Mechanics (How to Participate)

4.1 During the Promotional Period, customers must:

a) Buy any item from our Winter Warmers range (Items – Matcha Latte, Matcha Chai Latte, Hazelnut Hot chocolate, Salted Caramel Hot Chocolate, Gourmet Hot Chocolate, Almand Stuffed Croissants, Choc Chip Cookie stuffed croissant & Choc Lava Stuffed Croissants, Iced Matcha, Strawberry Iced Matcha & Matcha Freezo
; and

b) Scan your Château Gâteaux Rewards App at the point of purchase.

4.2 Each qualifying purchase and scan will automatically generate one entry into the draw.

4.3 Multiple entries are permitted, provided that each entry is linked to a separate qualifying purchase.

4.4 The Competition is only valid at participating Château Gâteaux stores in Gauteng. Purchases made outside of Gauteng will not qualify.

5. Prize and Winner Selection

5.1 10x winner will receive:

· Double tickets to Zee Nation Fest on the 9th August 2026

· Prize value of approximately R840 per winner.

5.2 The winner will be selected by random draw on or around 5 August 2026.

5.3 The winner will be contacted using the contact details linked to their Château Gâteaux Rewards App account by 7 August 2026.

5.4 If the winner cannot be contacted within 24 hours, declines the prize, or is found to be ineligible, the Promoter reserves the right to select an alternative winner.

5.5 The Prize is not transferable, exchangeable, or redeemable for cash.

5.6 The prize includes event tickets only. Winners are responsible for arranging and covering all costs associated with their own transport to and from the event, as well as any accommodation, meals, parking, and other incidental expenses not expressly included in the prize.

6. Liability

6.1 Participation is at the participant’s own risk.

6.2 The Promoter is not responsible for:

· Lost, delayed, incomplete, or invalid entries;

· Technical, system, or operational failures;

· Any costs incurred by participants in entering the Competition.

6.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, injury, or expense arising from participation in the Competition or acceptance and use of the Prize.

6.4 Nothing in these Terms limits any rights afforded under the CPA.

7. Personal Information (POPIA)

7.1 By participating, participants consent to the collection and processing of personal information for Competition administration and prize fulfilment.

7.2 Personal data will be processed in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

7.3 Information may be shared with service providers and prize partners solely for Competition administration and fulfilment.

7.4 Data will be securely stored for up to three (3) years and then safely disposed of.

8. Marketing Communication

8.1 Participants may opt in to receive marketing communication from Château Gâteaux.

8.2 Participants can opt out at any time via unsubscribe mechanisms or direct contact with Château Gâteaux.

9. Publicity

9.1 The winner may be invited to participate in promotional publicity related to the Competition.

9.2 Participation is voluntary and may be declined.

9.3 No compensation will be provided for participation.

10. General

10.1 The Promoter may amend these Terms and Conditions in accordance with applicable law.

10.2 The Promoter’s decision on any dispute relating to the Competition is final and binding.

10.3 These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of South Africa.
