Terms and Conditions for the Château Gâteaux Mother’s Day Campaign

1. Promoter

1.1 This promotional campaign is run by Château Gâteaux (Pty) Ltd (“Château Gâteaux” or “the Promoter”).

1.2 The Campaign is conducted in accordance with the Consumer Protection Act 68 of 2008 (“CPA”) of South Africa.

2. Promotional Period

2.1 The Château Gâteaux Mother’s Day Campaign (“the Campaign”) is valid on Sunday, 10 May 2026 only.

2.2 The Promoter reserves the right to extend, amend, suspend, or terminate the Campaign at its discretion due to circumstances beyond its control.

3. Eligibility

3.1 The Campaign is open to South African residents aged 18 years or older.

3.2 The following persons may not participate:

• Employees, directors, agents, or partners of Château Gâteaux;
• Affiliates, subsidiaries, and agencies associated with the Campaign;
• Immediate family members of the above.

4. Mechanics (How to Participate)

4.1 On Mother’s Day only:

a) The first 20 moms visiting each store may receive a NetFlorist flower and one complimentary regular coffee, at store management’s discretion and while stocks last.

b) The first 20 customers purchasing a 24cm cake at each store may receive a complimentary Revlon fragrance (valued at R380), at store management’s discretion and while stocks last.

4.2 Offers are limited per store, non-transferable, and available while promotional stock lasts.

5. Liability

5.1 Participation is at the participant’s own risk.

5.2 The Promoter is not responsible for:

• Any loss, delay, or inability to participate;
• Technical or operational issues;
• Any costs incurred by participants.

5.3 To the fullest extent permitted by law, the Promoter is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury arising from participation or acceptance of any promotional item.

5.4 Nothing in these Terms limits any rights afforded under the CPA.

6. Personal Information (POPIA)

6.1 By participating, participants consent to the collection and processing of personal information for Campaign administration.

6.2 Personal data will be processed in line with the Protection of Personal Information Act 4 of 2013 (POPIA).

6.3 Information may be shared with partners solely for Campaign fulfilment.

6.4 Data will be securely stored for up to three (3) years and then safely disposed of.

7. Marketing Communication

7.1 Participants may opt in to receive marketing communication.

7.2 Participants can opt out at any time via unsubscribe mechanisms or direct contact.

8. Publicity

8.1 Participants may be invited to partake in promotional publicity.

8.2 Participation is voluntary and may be declined.

8.3 No compensation will be provided for participation.

9. General

9.1 The Promoter may amend these Terms in accordance with applicable law.

9.2 The Promoter’s decision on any dispute is final and binding.

9.3 These Terms are governed by South African law.
